The Middle Rogue Steelheaders Annual Picnic will be held at Tom Pearce Park on Saturday, August 14, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Hamburgers, hot dogs, condiments and drinks will be provided free of charge. Attendees are asked to bring their own plates and utensils, as well as a "potluck" salad, side dish, or dessert to share.
Note: Day-Use fees must be paid for using the park. The fee is $2.00 per car without the annual day-use pass.
Directions:
Take "F" Street east behind Wal-Mart; "F" Street crosses Agness and becomes Foothill. Continue heading east on Foothill. Follow the signs to Tom Pearce Park (not to be confused with Pierce Riffle Park). When heading east on Foothill, the main road veers left to go under the freeway, but go straight ahead due east to Tom Pearce Park. [Note the different spelling of "Pearce."]
